Our area was hit by a tornado in June - your pictures look a lot like the scenes that we saw. It was amazing how one house would be gone, and the other beside it stood! Wishing all of your family the best with this devastation around them!!
Karla & KarrieThe Summer Kitchen Girlshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14705922236211577732noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-937688774026863443.post-10375528356651289242010-07-27T20:22:46.132-05:002010-07-27T20:22:46.132-05:00Ahhh Jody I'm so sorry, I'm glad your fami...Ahhh Jody I'm so sorry, I'm glad your family is okay but the devastation is heartbreaking.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-937688774026863443.post-75702090837117688682010-07-25T01:07:49.825-05:002010-07-25T01:07:49.825-05:00So very sad. They are absolutely terrifying--how fortunate that no one lost their life.Stickhorsecowgirlshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04167094045033324094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-937688774026863443.post-22820182086839192412010-07-20T15:19:25.665-05:002010-07-20T15:19:25.665-05:00Yes, tears. Their home is gone, and probably most of their possessions. Their community is a wreck, no school for their children. So much they could complain about and be angry, yet they praise God. What a beautiful testimony. God is good. That no people died is amazing. That we remember to be grateful is the lesson I take from this.
Thanks for sharing.Tamihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13545454885908647405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-937688774026863443.post-50944883522892229812010-07-20T12:51:45.815-05:002010-07-20T12:51:45.815-05:00Weather! Their friends, the Maloneys, lost their farm in this one. Thank goodness they are retired with no livestock. Leaf River Ag....it's almost stunning. I can't tell you how many ties I sat out in their parking lot while Mom did her business. The FairGrounds---gone! This was an F4 (at times almost 5) that went through Wadena, and there were no fatalities. God is Good!Brendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15527589226158238071noreply@blogger.com
